What is the difference between composing in the *.ITP format as opposed to the *.IT format.

Thanks in advance.

ITP files have references to the samples instead of the actual samples, which makes very tiny filesizes.

You can link to your .iti stored on your harddrive or from another song instead of loading the sample into your song. This is great because it saves lots of filespace, but when distributing the song, you'll need to switch back to .IT or render to wav.
