Removing VST plugins

Is there a way to un-attach a VST from the plug in list? I have found some plug ins don't work and want to remove them from my mod but can't see a way of doing that. I like to keep things neet and tidy. Thanks.

Go under the General tab, click Select by the Plugin section, and chose the plugins you wish to remove, and then click Remove.

To clarify: To just remove a plugin from a single song, do as FreezeFlame suggested but select "No Plugin" from the list of plugins. If you indeed want OpenMPT to completely forget about the plugin, click "Remove" instead.
