What they are portraing is this new kind of "Music", the commercialiced form written for youngsters, mostly.

It has nothing to do with real (U.K.) Dubstep as shown below.

Dubstep "is" and was always dark Beat and Percussion, Sub-bass oriented awesomness.

The Name "Dub" "Step" already implies this.
