Kinda progressive and kinda housey because noise, and sound, and BLAAAAGH (?); don't know exactly what genre is this so I'd just rather stick to "Trance" (Too noisy for house I think).
Starts up chiptune-like and then builds up some noise and bells. Peaks up at 1:58, and again at 4:44.

A little bit long song but I like the use of stereo and different instruments.

Notes as i'm listening...

Intro starts with the main melody in an old-skool timbre which merges into the stanard 4-on-the-floor beat loop. Layers are added nice and quick without the chance to get bored with the repeating chord or melodic progressions. The main melodic line is sliced, harmonized, and decently layered for good variation, and yet it still repeats way too much.

At 3:00, the main melody gets varied well, but even though it's not there, it still drones on. Perhaps letting a different instrument take over might help, or just abandon it for the next 2 mins and reprise it for the big close.

I do like the introduction of the distorted synth at 3:45, and this new melodic carrier does well to insert some much-needed relief in the distorted square, which unfortunately is still yammering away in the background (and all the way until 5:45). The timbre should be refiltered to change  to something more welcoming and "backgroundy."

The transitions are excellent -- smooth and "preparatory." The de-layering at the end is also nice.

4.2 out of 5 stars...

Wow! Thanks for the feedback! *u*

I can't do anything but agree to everything you said, I'll note all that down for when I do the "v3 remix" i've had planned for months.
This is suppossed to be the v2, v1 was made back in 2010. I think, you might want to check it out, it's pretty much the same idea; but with two years less of experience :P

You don't even know how much does that 4.2 means to me :D

Well, you obviously have some talent, and like most good composers, you incorporate styles from different genres to create your pictures or moods. The only thing i would concentrate on is how to vary repeated passages thru each pass. Listen carefully to other good music you like, whether classical or modern, to hear how the best composers handle repeated melodic phrasings or chord progressions. Like i've said elsewhere, study how fugues are created and the compositional techniques that Bach used to vary the passes. I bet it'll give you a lot of ideas, then incorporate that into modern techniques, which you seem to have a handle on -- filtering, FX variations, and instrument morphing. Forget us -- YOU will be the one that will most proud of your productions! 8)
