Hi everybody.

This is a little rock-ballad that I "wrote" on March 2011. I hope that you'll like it:

Not what I usually listen to, but enjoyable nevertheless!

Notes as i'm listening:

Typical treatment of art rock by our esteemed colleague.
The acoustic and orchestral sounds provide a nice textural shower after dancing all night in electronic and synthetic music.
The chord progressions are a bit too typical and reminds me (along with the tempo) too much of "Promises and Lies."
The layering here is good but perhaps too typical.
The use of modern drums and electric and bass guitars keep the music progressive. But the lack of a memorable melodic line tends to make the song tedious, as all we're left with is sonic textures over chord progressions that don't really take us on a journey. I will guess this is what the artist intended, as the emotionalism of the song is about a single feeling rather than visual descriptions or the telling of a narrative. If this is true, then it's just one big sad song...

Very good production and i hope to hear more from you. :D

Thanks for listening and commenting, Harbinger.

And you're right. There is no story to be told and no journey to be taken. It's just a song of parting and loss....
