Louigi, I listened LFO7 almost complete. In a previous listening to music by you, I said that your music reminds me of Steve Reich work. In the case of LFO7, it happens the same, you seem very fond of minimalism, isn´t it?.

When I have time I will be finishing the listening to this piece and also to LFO8  :)

Hey, wandering genie!
Yes, I really like minimalism. A lot of what I do is pretty minimalistic, though not everything. Creating a rich soundscape from time to time is also great.
You might want to wander to my site and explore music from there. Much more stuff, maybe you'll find smth of interest.

Louigi, in fact I begun to explore some of your music, the "droning project" was the one I begun to listen to, some days ago. It is very interesting, though, of course one must be in te mood for that kind of music. Drones are very interesting and sometimes I use them (though not as developed as yours) as backgrounds for songs. One of the mains things that make a drone great are the subtle variations, but these variations must be very subtle generally to achieve a great effect. If you like that kind of music I would suggest you to listen to some didgeridoo (yidaki) music. Or better, attempt to play a didj.  :) THere are also some other ethnic instruments that are great for droning, indian tampura, bagpipes and zanfonas (though these also play melody).  :)

I would say that "droning" is a pretty hardcore project to start from, although I generally just point people to my site and let them explore. "droning" is just my latest work and so naturally it is in the news on the site and so forth.
You might want to look at more dynamic albums, like here:

As for didgeridoo, I did try it actually once, but my first try was not enjoyable. I did not expect that you have to blow into it in such a specific manner, rather strenuous. I though it was more relaxed. But I do play flutes. I am also using "din" - a software instrument for Linux which I play with a graphic tablet and which is a little bit like theremin.

Thanks for interest and comments, btw! ;)
