Sorry Chip if I am flooding your forum with useless goof-offery, but I really wonder about this one, and it's not too personal.

This is where you post links to a screenshot of your desktop. If you have more that one OS, then why not post a shot of all of them?

Remember, don't embed the image in your post, that will annoy everyone. Just links.

If you mean the desktop to be the screen after a boot of the system, i would be this :
The screen as empty as can be
But if you consider the 'desktop' as being the starting or central point for the work, it will be :

the left monitor pretty much always looks like that, the right one is everything else (winamp vis, opera, modplug, file browsing, games, etc).
yah, i know thats an incredibly random playlist, heh.

Holy poopie, what vis plugin is that? And please don't tell me its AVS, it doesn't work on my PC for some reason. I usually use MilkDrop for vis

actually, it might be milkdrop in the middle of a transition, not sure which (i tend to switch them randomly).

heh, i never take a shot with my desktop icons visible, because the entire screen is full of random stuff (i pretty much use my desktop as my 'unsorted' folder).

and btw, my taskbar is at the top of the left monitor, and on autohide.
i seem to be the only one who likes to do this...

My brother likes autohide, and I used to, but I missed things like flashing buttons and other notifications

Usually when I work, my desktop looks something like this:

PS. 2 Squirrel Havoc, Its okay. Good way to get some movement going around at the forums.

What were you refering to? I didn't notice anything wrong. But I did notice you used Polyphase sampling, while in the old forums, you mentioned XMMS was the best. Which is it? I want the best, and I use XMMS.

BTW: Am I the only one with a hot chick as my background? I feel like a perv

As I understand, Polyphase is generally better, but it also depends on the samples you use. Trust your ears.
