completed a song this weekend that I'd worked on all week and I'm really proud of the result. Dunno if anyone here likes dub music, but hey thought I'd post it anyways.

Not my genre indeed, but well done.
Maybe the 'echoed' sound is a bit too much at the front.

I listened to it. It is nice, but I would constructively criticize it.

1. The filtered riff with which the tune starts never ends. Would've been nice if it were just an effect from time to time. The way it is now makes the tune kinda boring and monotonous. Also, it is too loud at times. This happens often with filtered sound, use a compressor.

2. Too much low frequencies there. Sounds better in headphones, but not clean on the speakers.

3. The rhythm section development does not correspond to what's happening in the tune. Nor does it lead the tune, which might be a good thing to do if the rest of the tune exhibits no change.

4. The lead instrument in the end is too random yet what it plays has a structure. This creates a weird feeling. You either play random notes but make the placing of notes also generic, less suggestive of a motif or play a more formed melody.

5. The minimalism of this exact tune does not work. There are many inroads into interesting development but in the end we get nothing. The tune gives an impression of a sketch.

Hope any of this is relevant to you!
