Hello, anyone there knows any distribution of OpenMPT(like v1.17.02.46) for ubuntu(9.04)? thanks

OpenMPT is Windows-only at the moment. You will have to use WINE.

You can try Schism tracker which was initially based on some of OpenMPT code. It is available for Linux and is in Ubuntu repos.

Well, if he wants OpenMPT, Schism (which is based on libmodplug, which is based on ModPlug, and not OpenMPT) is certainly not an alternative. If he wants a tracker, it is. And btw, OpenMPT runs fairly well in WINE.

sorry for the confusion.

If he wants OpenMPT, Schism might not be an option. If he wants a tracker, though, Schism is a great piece of software.
