the looming fall of apple?

I can't believe Apple is even considering this technology. Ads embedded in iPods and iPhones will make products that are shunned with a gazillion much cheaper Taiwanese and Chinese imitations - which, btw, are not too bad actually in my experience.

To be honest, I am not surprised. Apple is very user-non friendly. Times when it was really cool to own a Mac are over. Now it's mainstream and along with mainstream came the desire to make billions and zillions. It's not about a niche product now, it is very big money.

The only reason why people should attach to unusable technology would be technological dependence.

Exactly. (and no, i don't use macs).

Actually, people should worry less, what's all this fuzz about? Stupid patents are being filed all the time, not only by Apple, and most of them actually don't make it into the real world.
