For some reason, recently I have been experiencing excessive loudness when I place Popcorn in the second set of channels for my songs. Here are some example files for comparison reasons.

File 1:  http://uploading.com/files/de6e4bbe/Mopdorn.mptm/
File 2:  http://uploading.com/files/2c27ff94/1%252C851%252C459%2B%2528Daisy%2529.mptm/
File 3:  http://uploading.com/files/838fmc8e/Popcorn%2B%2528with%2Ba%2Bslight%2Bhint%2Bof%2Bkeyboardedness%2529.mptm/

Why might that happen? I tested it in both 1.17.02.52 and 1.17.03.02 and both of them yielded the same result.

I cannot really say anything since uploading.com is a pain in the ass and the file that I was able to download didn't have anything that sounded like "excessive loudness" - also I don't know what you mean with "when I place Popcorn in the second set of channels for my songs." A wild guess - did you enable Mixmode RC3? It is much louder than the other mixmodes under certain circumstances.

I did not initially think to check that, but the mix mode is indeed set to 1.17RC3. It would appear that you are correct. I changed the mix level to 1.17RC2 and the channels instantly became softer. The second set of channels part essentially means the last four channels as opposed to channels 1 - 4.
