Well, nice graphical editing.. But is the original a scanned painting, or a digital painting ?

Techniques nowadays are pretty neat. Here also skin textures are used.
As used in 3-D, like Poser, or such. An example :

I think the artist uses air brush technique and copies photographs.

Would be more impressive he painted out of his head like Dali.

alright, you know that i got good skills with phothoshop, but this is something inhuman. How on earth can someone draw this precise (without any reference, i assume)? :shock:

70hours work (7h normal and 63h super detail work, to be accurate)? The longest drawing took me totally about 14 i guess, usually im finishing them after 8-10...

Sam, that is impressive indeed, but nowdays 3d is much more powerful than that, you can barely tell the difference from reality, or not at all.

In my language one also says 'out of my head', but maybe you meant 'by heart'..

2 Psi : I gave a simple example, but yes you're right, the developments in this area are going fast.
Barely tell the difference is the point, so many times the mental suggestion is sufficient.
I hope this will mean a strong blow to the porn-industry, so no longer real people have to suffer.

What I mean is that Dali panted imagination with realism. He painted ideas and concepts - feeling and thought.

This guy is just doing incredible copies of photos. The technique is astounding (which is why I posted it) but the artistry is not the same as Dali - no message - except "I can paint really good".

You're right. Painting with whatever brush really good doesn't make impression on its own.
Dali painted imaginary things often using a more or less real landscape.
Also a matter of strength of suggestion.
