Quite nice free jazz miniatures. I like specially the obstinato basses. Overall, both pieces reminds me of Frank Wright Quintet, in the record "Uhuru na umoja". Good to hear that somebody does something that it's not "electro-something" or "techno-what" or "synthy-what-else".

I appreciate your observations. Good to see that someone recognizes the much wider aspects of module-tracking.
So I publish another one of that album : The Lone.
I don't know the Frank Wright Quintet, so I will check this out.

Why zip an OGG? I never understood why people compress compressed data.

It's nice to see Jazz as a module, I always wondered if my song Gwen could be classified as a Jazz song. What defines Jazz?

I've received more comments about zipping an ogg.
I don't do this for the sake of compression, which would be silly indeed, but concerning the fact, that an ogg-file can be played net-streaming, so with the option to cut-off the load before the end of the song.
This confuses the statistics of my site. While one has to download the whole zip, before one can listen to it.
Never mind classifications but Gwen could fit in the jazz model as being the landscape for some added solo's.
What defines Jazz?
I dunno. There are as many different disciplines as with visual art.
Common characteristics of those disciplines may be :
- Duke Ellington : It don't mean a thing, if it ain't got that swing.
- Theme and improvisation

No, at some stage I decided to remove most of the albums with tracker modules from the server.
But I recently thought of re-composing the Nano Jazz album and publish it.
I first want to revise the tracks though, due to the new RC3 mix.
