needs percussion :-)

and probably a revisit on the lead guitar.

TheEagle

Again a beautiful song. I really like it....

Not necessarily. Personally I like percussions very much, but I think this song is good enough without them...

Nice work, Mr Uncloned...

Sam_Zen

Nice balanced mix, Clones.

Agree with TheEagle, no direct need for percussion. Easy listening is not banging on things.

2nd lead guitar may be an idea, playing some counterpart sometimes.
Or just playing the same notes as the 1st in some phrases.

I use that as an old trick to emphasize vocals in a mix. Just a second take with the same text content.
And the same melody. So it's the same, but never exactly the same.

Thank you both for the listen and comments!

I'm curious as to what Norm comes up with.

Sam - I think the Beatles did double tracked vocals a lot -  John and Paul could duplicate their vocal line so well it would sound like phasing in places.

I also have had a suggestion for vocals on this in trax in space.

All of the suggestions have been good.

I'll have to think about it

Nahkranoth

Wow!
I wonder, clones, how it will sound if the guitar part was not improvised. Can't really say something meaningful, I like it and that's all :D
About percussion: It is good enough already, but some slight presence of percussion would do it good. Maybe even brush kits
I will wait for Norm's contribution ::)

Are you refering to the leads being improvised?

I hit a couple (or many more) bad notes - probably I could noodle out a more consistant melody if I work at it.

Glad you like it and thanks for the listen!

Nahkranoth

Oh yes, I meant leads
I don't mind some occasional bad notes, just curious what may come out of this if the lead part will be more thought out.

Those were well-spent 4 minutes of my life :D

Sam_Zen

Waiting for Norm is waiting for percussion, I suppose. But as posted, this song doesn't need percussion primary.

So maybe Norm shouldn't add some rhythmic patterns, but just some percussive accents/hits on some moments..
So on some syllables of the guitar.

Damn! I thought it's an updated version!
Oh, I think you just wanted to change the title

I messed that up - yes I just wanted to change the title - thanks for letting me know!
