I bought a nice simple 2 I/O external soundcard to be able to record on my notebook.
So I found quite a collection of free things and VST plugins on the firm-pages, some also for the Mac.

About the VSTs on that page that I already know:
The 4front VSTis is not Super HQ, but they are not bad either. Audionerdz Delay Lama is fun to play with.
