Lyrics by Evan Harrington - music by Chris Vaisvil

How drew the sand,
from the rocks like water from a fountain?
An absent, empty mountain
Now warmly between my toes

And maybe I'm wrong,
but I'd just would like to know...
What are the Dimensions of Freedom?

My mind reaches peek, to peak,
but I do not understand.
And so, my mined mind,
you've thoughtfully shown:

That thought is out moded,
replaced by your yawn.
What are the Dimensions of Freedom?

On noisy, busy streets,
the organ grinders turn
to dust
and are swept with all the rest
I escaped to the Land!

I must have heard the grasses grow,
all in one in all...
What are the Dimensions of Freedom?

What are the Dimensions of Freedom?

Nice little song.
The brightness of the guitar is a bit over-ruling the rather dull (as tone) sound of the singing.
I like the wordplay by the way : "peek to peak" and "mined mind,".

Evan's writing is always quite good.

I kinda got that impression on the brightness too - but all I have are two tracks - one vocal and guitar - so it is kinda touchy to fix

Sam_Zen

Why touchy ? Since you're a CEP user, and you have a seperate vocal track in the session, it's a matter of decreasing with let's say 6 dB,
pimp the higher freqs, and normalizing the result again.

the main voice and guitar are together though

the backing vocal is in another track

so it is not as easy - but if I can find time I will try it tonight

right now I got admin stuff to do.
