Hi@all

Sorry - new album. Style is Orchestral.
This took me a very long time. I began in late september. Each IT file is much larger than the wav file. All 12 IT files together have a size of 759 MB. But they share mostly the same instruments.
The bitrate of all songs is 192kbps.

Sample credits:
* Samples in Track 1: ZynAddSubFx
* Piano - The site says it's free. I hope it's the kind of free that I think it is.
* All other Samples: thesoundexchange

01 - Vorspiel - Prelude - (1.6M - 1:09)
02 - Moostaverne - Moss tavern - pronounced: Moe's ;>) - (3.6M - 2:37)
03 - Kleines Lied - Little Song -  (2.0M - 1:27)
04 - Ein Sack voll Leere - A sack full of emptiness - (3.2M - 2:17)
05 - Intermezzo - (2.2M - 1:37)
06 - Der Morgen danach - The morning after - (4.6M - 3:22)
07 - Reise ins Irgendwo - Travel to somewhere - (3.5M - 2:30)
08 - Gehirngarten - brain garden -  (4.7M - 3:25)
09 - Keine Zeit zur Eile - No time for hurry - (3.1M - 2:14)
10 - Grusel - creepy - (1.6M - 1:09)
11 - Ein Tag im Herbst - A day in autumn - (6.7M - 4:50)
12 - Das Letzte - The last/least - (3.0M - 2:12)

I hope you have more fun listening than i had uploading it (more than one hour for 40MiBs)

I understand your lack of fun uploading.
I remember the days with a 56 KB analog modem. I got quite angry at people when they attached a 2 MB file to a mail.

Now to the album. I just DL'ed all trax, so I can't give a total review yet.
Nice titles. You obviously take your time to choose them.
And I like it, that you're aware of the album-concept, so the order of tracks is a composition "an sich".
With a head and a trail.

The 'Vorspiel' sounds promising. (you said last/least for 'das letzte', shouldn't you add the translation 'foreplay' here too?) :)
'Das Letzte' sounds re-assuring. Tech : I heard some hiss in the beginning plus some spikes at around 0:30 upto 0:50.

This is great stuff. I fancy the Kleines Lied and Intermezzo.
And I appreciate the subtle use of electronic means in the production.
After 007 it got a bit predictable which instruments will be used next.
Nothing wrong with that. The sounds reminded me of tracks by the 'Move' with cello and oboe.
Grusel starts creepy, but doesn't get more creepy.
In that sense, Ein Tag im Herbst has more growing creepiness in the first part.

Hi Sam.
QuoteI understand your lack of fun uploading.
I remember the days with a 56 KB analog modem.
If i still had my 56k modem i wouldn't even release any mp3 files but only some tiny 200k mods. And even this took very long.

QuoteNice titles. You obviously take your time to choose them.
Initially, half of the song names were in english and the other half in german. And many of them had such expressive names, like "unfinnished123.it".
The last thing that i did before converting and uploading them was finding some better names for them.

QuoteAnd I like it, that you're aware of the album-concept, so the order of tracks is a composition "an sich".
Haha, this is more or less your guilt ;)
Let me cite what you wrote after i released my first "album":
QuoteI'm not going to judge this as an album, as long as I don't know the exact composed order of the tracks.
:)

Quoteyou said last/least for 'das letzte', shouldn't you add the translation 'foreplay' here too?)
I don't understand. Why should i do this? :)

Anyway, thanks again for your review :)

after a quick listen, some short commets on each tune:
1: Nice prelude, but the choir samples are a disapointment ;)
2: Again, nice strings work! Kind of a techno beat, hehe :)
3: Nothing special I'd have to add here.
4: Good piano work here.
5: Funny tune.
6: The title fits :)
7: Really nice, esp the part that begins at ~0:50 and 1:30
8: Hm, no Idea what i should say here :D
9: Again, this seems to be mix between old and modern styles :D Funky :)
10: Really creppy!
11: Quite relaxing. I like the guitar.
12: Sounds a little bit out of time at some parts... Strange.

Great work. I like all of the tracks. The only one I'm not too sure about is the last one - it doesn't seem to fit in with all of the others. Overall, though, a fantastic collection.

Thanks to both of you for listening :)

Yea, the quality of the samples in the first track isn't that good :(.

So the name "the least" was wisely choosen :-D

I've been lazy about posting commentary lately, but I just wanted to let you know I enjoyed your tracks.
