Looking for legacy example modules

I reinstalled OpenMPT on a new computer and noticed that some of my favorite example modules are no longer included (especially Laserwash), so I tried looking through downloads of older versions of the software... and couldn't find the one I was looking for. Does anybody know which build number was the last version to include MO3 modules as example songs (and if it's still available for download), and/or if there were any specific reasons for older songs being removed (such as, say, legal issues) besides it being time for a refresh?

If somebody could give me some information n this matter, I'd appreciate it!

Try https://download.openmpt.org/resources/modules/. Laserwash is in 1.22 and 1.23.

We tend to update the examples irregularly roughly when new features become available the warrant showcasing them. In order to keep the download to a reasonable size, older ones are not provided any more.

Thank you very much! I was almost afraid it was about to become lost media /jk

Huh. Some of these example songs require external plugins. In particular, "Electri-Q (posihfopit edition)" does not appear to be available for download anymore... well that's a bummer :/

Not a single OpenMPT example module requires external plugins. Only the files in the "example_songs_ompt_1.*.7z" files are example songs.
The other files are tutorials for questions that have been asked on the forum. You probably downloaded pcnotes.mptm, which was an early demonstration for the forum users how PC events work. You can replace Electri-Q with literally any other plugin to see the effect of PC events.
