I tried making a rare wubbox sound with OpenMPT (for some reason) cuz there is such thing as tal vocoder vst3. For some reason i tried testing to see if it works but it's mute. Why is that?

TAL-Vocoder is working just fine here, and your description of the problem is a bit terse, so I'll take a guess what you're doing wrong.

A vocoder always needs two input signals: The carrier (typically a basic waveform with rich harmonics) and the modulator (the signal that shapes the carrier, e.g. vocals or a drum loop). By feeding audio into TAL-Vocoder, you are providing the modulator, but the carrier is still missing. TAL-Vocoder has an internal carrier section, but needs to be triggered via MIDI, so that the plugin knows which pitch to play the carrier at.

To achieve that, create an instrument in OpenMPT, and in the Plugin / MIDI section, choose the FX slot that contains TAL-Vocoder and set the MIDI Channel to 1. Now you can use this instrument to send MIDI notes to TAL-Vocoder's carirer at the same time as feeding the modulator with audio signals.
