how do i make a new sequence/pattern

i need help with creating sequences/patterns
i dont know how to make new sequences (i pressed the Insert Sequence Keybind, did not make a new sequence, instead it made a folder with nothing),
i tried to make a pattern, but i cant.
can some1 help me

You can easily access any sequences youve added from the pattern tab. I've circled it in green.

To add, delete or duplicate patterns you can right click over an existing pattern and choose from the popup menu or do what i usually do and just double click on an empty space, which will add a new pattern (pattern list circled in red)

That's my good deed for the year done!
