I feel like I've hit a bit of a wall, nothing seems to be coming together lately, and this tune is just me banging my head against it trying to break through. It didn't work (obviously) and I just ended up with a massive headache!

How do you get past a block?

It even makes them sound a little worse to you perhaps, and then the ear grows tired which such little incentive. Music's fun, but there's a little lack of exclusivity in being able to do it.

You know what I do...    Just make a clap,  make a snare,  and make a little drum trick with the pattern editor,  and a tracker is good at that.   Make the song unique, love and cherish it even tho people probably care about their birthday probably more than yours, in people in general, if ur song was like ur birthday.
I don't think theres anything wrong with what ur doing, but silly people need to keep changing what their doing for no reason getting nowhere when there is something solid here u dont have to change, but maybe theres some way to progress it father?

Got a jungley lot of drums in it,  and I'd like to hear a daemon voice go "your dead" after the lady was talking about this mysterious "deep state of unconsciousness" where its undescribed what it could actually be.   but u know there was a daemon voice in it, just burbling a little bit there,  grats for putting it in.   its definitely a realistic "ooh" nice deep and bassy.
then there's some shrilly choice shrill sounds, with great clarity.  The bass stab was good as well.   Then a synthesized gothic choir type sound.
There was a cool woman voice sounding like a frog mating call - and whispering,  that bit was good.   And then a toy piano type sound doing chords, and then some shooting stars.   Sorta progresses into quite a joyous chorus all together.
Then the piano got some resonance put on it, made it sound sorta tinny lo-fi old radio type sound, and it all decayed off into silence.

This OPEN-MPT definitely makes a good track!   Maybe this is all it is,  and we should be having fun already or we are just wasting our lives thinking like that we need to go to heaven when we are already there.

Thanks for the comment, if only I'd put that that much thought in when I made it!

Too be honest its a tune I'm trying hard to erase from my memory.

So what asperations do u have for ur music?

Me myself, I'm still working on it - Ive been doing that for 20 or so years now but u know what its not completely for nothing,  cause I'm a little better I think than I've ever been, but it was fairly below average for a long time.
If you can just get the cool sounds out of the synth, (but the skys the potential there) that should be enough merit to be confident to show and perform your music,  and ur demonstrating really good stuff in all your songs here.

Having a decent program to do it in on helps in the first place tho, and understanding the situation better, which I'm still not fully grasping I dont think.

I Don't really have any aspirations music wise, I just do it for fun. I just enjoy the process of making a noise. All of my tunes are made late at night/early hours when there's nothing else to do, takes my mind off not being able to sleep.

As Far as trackers go I don't think you can beat OpenMPT, I tried all of them before deciding which was the easiest to get to grips with.

Noise is the other word for it, and theres nothing wrong with that,  Just think how much extra body you get by ripping some a-harmonic notes besides each other.  I prefer it putting hairs on my chest, than listening to wimpy girly shit.
