Pressing the DEL key does not advance the cursor one step downwards

Hi
When I press the DEL key to delete a note, the cursor stays on same position in the pattern after pressed. Is there a way to make it progress?

I have set "Edit step: 1", and if I enter a respective note-key instead of DEL-key, the cursor do proceed to next line in the pattern sheet.

Anyone know how to make the DEL-key behave as the value setting in the Edit step?

Hi Magnar, long time no see The command you're looking for is called "Clear field and step", right now DEL is most likely bound to "Clear field" instead. The "IT Style" variations of those two commands also delete the instrument number when deleting a note.
