Additional File Types?
« on: August 05, 2017, 00:49:05 »
Is it possible for OpenMPT to display V2M files the same way it does its default files? For example, I downloaded Lyzzard's module "r2d2 flying home", which is a V2M file. Can I see the song's layout like I would an IT or MPTM module?

No, there are no plans to support V2M in OpenMPT. V2M is basically a completely restructured midi file with custom instrument data for V2. V2 instruments cannot be represented at all in OpenMPT. Importing the midi event data from V2M is way out of scope for OpenMPT.
