Bass Expansion, Reverb, and Pro-Logic Surround grayed out
« on: February 06, 2015, 19:12:06 »
So I recently downloaded the most recent version of OpenMPT (I am familiar with older versions of the program), and as of this update it won't let me use the listed options in the DSP menu. Is this option grayed out for everybody, or is it something about my setup or my computer that won't let me use them? And if I can use them, how?

It's not available in the 64-bit version because the 64-bit version of the MSVC compiler doesn't allow inline assembly, plus they are really old and low-quality effects. You should never use them, not even in the 32-bit version. If you need to spice up your music, use VST plugins instead.
