This was technically created in FastTtacker II, it should still provide some insight into tracking 13 years ago:

Thanks all! PPH, how are you man?! Been many years since we've talked. Have added you on Skype/MSN.

Hi! A very, very long time. I haven't used MSN in ages. Now it's dead, isn't it?

MSN is not dead. Microsoft put a stop to their official client and merged it with skype. ebuddy.com still works and mirandaIM and other multi-client messengers still work too.

I used to use Trillian but found it too annoying, especially after the updates got worse and worse. I've since switched to Skype and use it occasionally (atlanteanrecords@hotmail.com). One day I hope to get a camera so I can video chat with people.

Okay, this way off-topic once again, but... Trillian being more annoying and Skype?! Really? The last time I've used it was some years ago but I saw it at a friend's place and it still looks wayyyy less intrusive than Skype. And yeah, the MSN network is probably not going to run for much longer, but right now, alternative clients still work.
