But what's ur question?
"Heh, maybe I should've joined the compo only because it would've meant I wouldn't have had to worry about a damn EQ or compressor for a change. " - Atlantis
"yes.. I think in this case it was wishful thinking: MPT is makng my life hard so it must be wrong" - Rewbs

Really Weird Person

Assuming, by LPChip's post that I was correct again, here is my question.

What type of processor does my laptop have in it?

A. Intel Core 2 Duo
B. Intel Core 2 Quad
C. AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core
D. AMD Athlon FX

Edit by LPChip: changed the keys to A,B,C,D

That would be nice, but, negative.

Saga Musix

if it's a recent one, it's possibly the Intel Core 2 Duo :)

Really Weird Person

Nope, the processor that you listed is w-r-o-n-g, wrong!

Saga Musix

Oh, it gotta be a AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core then, cuz i don't know any Quad cores :P

Yep, it is an AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core processor. BTW, quad-core computers do exist, but they are quite expensive. Here is one for you.

Note the price! However, as well as a quad-core processor, that one has liquid cooling and Windows Vista Ultimate (likely 32-bit)!

The most important tool (besides ModPlug) on my computer is...
a) PhotoFiltre
b) PSPad
c) WaveLab
d) DOSBox

I'm joining in now... I'm gonna say D, DosBox, Jojo. How else would you be able to play old DOS games, or use an old-school tracker, or stuff...

Really Weird Person

I am going to guess that you are not a big fan of Nintendo or Microsoft and say P[lay]S[tation] pad. I am not sure if that is a special type of mouse pad, but it sounds like it might be one that could be used as either a mouse pad for your computer or a controller for the PS.

Lowpass filter! Perform a generic type of dodge!!!
Everyone should get on this forum's chatroom RIGHT NOW...still not sure why, though.

bvanoudtshoorn, indeed, dosbox is a powerful tool, but it's far too slow to run oldschool trackers (which i only use for experiments anyway) and some old games still don't run properly on it, so i have a Win98 computer beside my XP machine -> wrong :P

SoundCrafter, WaveLab is also a very powerful tool, but I also don't need as often as the program i'm looking for :P

Relabsoluness, i guess PhotoFiltre is the tool i use second most, as it's a great picture editor. :)

RWP is right again! PSPad is a very versatile text editor, you can use it for simple texts, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and many more langauges, it also has a wide range of nice tools built-in. it is very, very powerful. it beats all the programs above :D
