Well, the forum became faster when you got the new server, but that's even earlier and I also didn't feel any speed-ups during the last time. So i guess it's B.

Since both A and D appear to be wrong, I am going to guess that the answer is B, although I have not seen ModPlug Tracker ask about downloading updates in quite a while. Though it does say "Tried," so perhaps your tries have failed whenever you did them. I have tried to change the code of the older (64 channel/256 row) version, but I could not totally figure out how to work the void codes in where they needed to be. I tried to put those in, but it did not work.

Although your reasoning is totally wrong, C is the answer though.

I have changed a few settings for the server where all php pages are now rendered through FastCGI. This allows me to keep php running all the time without the need to fire it up for each application. This saves resources and makes loading pages even faster. Its barelly noticable but it doesn't slow down that much anymore.
