C remains... (Always keep the good answer for the last :P)

My question:

I've just ordered an external 250 GB harddrive. Whats the reason behind it?

A. I needed more space, and though an external would be smarter.
B. I needed more space, and I don't have more place in my pc for another HD.
C. I have a problem with my current HD and this seemed to be a good solution.
D. I saw a cheap one and though... I might find use for that!

Is this talking about after buying the new computer? If so, then I say D.

LPChip

I didn't bough a new computer, only a processor. The rest of the computer is dated by approx. one year now :P

Answer D is wrong.

My secondary guess is A then.

SoundCrafter

B seems sensible enough...and also what my situation is =P...i've actually got 2 hard drives stood up and supported by nothing but their power and IDE cables...NOT a good call.

Boot sector virus = bad sector = replacing hard drive

Relabsoluness

How about C  (rather long suspense here :P)

I would say that it is probably not A because I know from experience that external media tends to be slower than internal media for accessing time(the same goes for going across a network). Plus, if you unplugged an external hard drive, then realized that you needed it later, you would have to plug the hard drive back in (otherwise you would not be able to access the data). I see that I had posted A before. I am not totally sure why I would have done that. Anyway, how about B since I do not see that one on the board yet.
When I checked my e-mail, I noticed that I had received one from this forum. In my mind I thought this. "Wow! I have not received an e-mail from Modplug in a long time. Maybe it is another update (to Modplug Tracker)!" When I saw what it was, I thought to myself "Wow! I have not received replies regarding this topic in a long time! Let's check it out!" I am not sure if those were my exact thoughts, but I believe that they were close.
