[rock ballad] Echoes Of Fate (mp3)

Hi everybody.

Recently I played around with some echo effects. The result is a (I would say) rock-ballad with a "speed-up second half":

The main melody and the songs structure is as simple as in my other songs ('business as usual', so to speak...;-)) but I like the guitar-sounds...

However, I hope you like it.

how did you do the voice?

this has a very nice feeling to it. sounds like good bye from someone who has changed into something else - a former human.

You will laugh but it's nothing else than the windows-speech-engine.

I downloaded a free female voice (I don't remember the name at the moment) and simply recorded the words in a wave editor.
In the song, I played the samples through the TAL-Vocoder to get this nice effect...

I made the samples before I started the song (I only had the basic idea and the title), but finally I only used three of them....
