OpenMPT v1.17.02.53

Has the bug occured in previous versions? If yes, please specify version(s): (This option is optional, and doesn't need research. But in case you know...) Not sure.

Description of the bug: Even though the value of the Pitch Pan separation can range from -32 to 32, MPT will not allow a negative symbol to be entered into the field. The only way to access negative values is by clicking the arrow keys. Either the minus symbol should be allowed, or the numbering limits reset (perhaps to the same as volume -- 0 to 64).

How often does it happen?: Always

How to reproduce (step by step description): Go to the Instruments page and put the cursor in the Pitch Pan field. Clear the contents and try to input -32 (which will separate the pitch-based stereo field at its widest but inverted -- so that bass notes are on the right and treble is on the left). You will be prompted that a minus symbol can not be inserted into that field. Instead put 0 into the field. Now click on the down arrow key. The value will go to -1, and using THIS method you can get to -32.

Please confirm that this is fixed in OpenMPT 1.17.03.02. You may set the S=C flag in the first post yourself then, without further comments.

Harbinger

Now accepts minus signs for negative values (-32 to 32). Closing.
