This is for Nahkranoth - I hope my band establishes its Metal playing with you in this tune. Considering that Black Sabbath arguably created the metal genre and I think we play it pretty true A should equal B because A and B both equal C.

I was inspired by seeing Tony Iommi play on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Don_Kirshner%27s_Rock_Concert - since there are many guitar parts on the album to choose from I choose most of what Tony decided to choose when performing live.

The song you will hear is missing the coda - Moh messed up and we just stopped.

Very nice attempt, but cloning a band is not about the instruments and sounds, but about the spirit behind it.
And this comes pretty close.

One big rule I had when rehearsing with other musicans : never abruptly stop when you, or anybody else, is making mistakes, or messing up.
Just go on, try to make something of it and finish the song. A cold cut is very nasty for the brain.

to be honest I don't know why we stopped.
You hear Frank the bass player expressing anguish but it died before that.

Usually, since we were so big on improvisation, we just kept on going and incorporated the mistake. This session has quite a few of those. The band sounds good... but could not execute cleanly for some reason. Hard to tell some 33 years later.
