Reaching Out For You

I've been trying
Crying
Reaching out for you
It never is enough
I never do get through
My heart is true
My heart is meant for you

I've been crying
Trying
Reaching out for you
I hang on every word
All you've said I've heard
Can't you see my eyes?
You know they could never lie

Deep inside my soul I know it is true
There is a place for me deep inside of you

So let it shine
With the love that's there
Open up your door
There is so much more!

I've been trying
Crying
Reaching out for you
When I am asleep
I dream of you to keep
You are the only one
My heart you have won

Deep inside your soul you know that its true
My heart is a place only meant for you!

So let it shine
With the love that's there
Open up your door
There is so much more!

This is sweet, clones! :) I think that the weakest point is the drums - although they fit the "pop ballad" mould, it would've been nice to have some more variation; something more than the kick-ride-snare-ride pattern. Overall, though, I like this track. :)

A tender, but longing piece. Nice.
People often aren't aware of the fact, that it's far more difficult to play a piece in a low tempo.

Thank you both for the listen.

The drums could be better - they but a metronome for me here.
Percussion is not a strong point for me at all - I could stand to learn more.

This is a very well composed song and interesting musically.  If you have a chance to do this with a real drummer (or better programmed drums), that would definitely help.  And (sorry) you need someone else to sing it.  It would work well for a female vocalist I think.

I do like the song.  As is often the case, the concept is good, but the execution could be better.  (Believe me, I know how that goes.)

Thanks for the listen and compliment mr vegas!

A better recording would be nice though I think some of the veiled sexual innuendo's (which are actually unintentional) would not work with a female.

Though - this execution thing is probably the main reason I work as a chemist ;-)
