Strange that Christmas Shaft is mentioned - I'm an admin on the site that ran the competition that produced it a couple of years ago.

What's so strange about it? I believe Christmas Shaft to be a very amusing game - say hi to it's creator if you have a chance!

Well, I didn't mean "strange" in that sense - more that it was a coincidence! I'd mention it to him, but he doesn't seem to have been on http://www.create-games.com in the last year or so.
