Hi,

All is in title : is there a way to "link" MPT to a Nintendo DS, in order to compose in XM/IT, and finally being able to convert the final piece of music to the midi format that is required (I think) for the Nintendo DS, thus ready to be implemented ?

I mean, that way, no need to compose in old midi style to work on DS games.

That would be kind of cool...

I know there is "TO MIDI', a converter, but that would be great to have such feature directly in MPT ;-)

I happily own a NDS and since recently I also have a CycloDS Evo card for homebrew.

The only thing I can say to you is this:

Your best bet is Nitro Tracker for the DS. It supports a slightly modified XM format. (or better said: it currently only reads sampledata, notes and volume).

You can make the songs in MPT and save as xm to load them in NitroTracker and be able to play or edit them.

So... I guess this isn't really a request then... Moving it to General Chatter.
"Heh, maybe I should've joined the compo only because it would've meant I wouldn't have had to worry about a damn EQ or compressor for a change. " - Atlantis
"yes.. I think in this case it was wishful thinking: MPT is makng my life hard so it must be wrong" - Rewbs
