aGIANTpupafish gave a link to a piano VST http://www.yohng.com/piano.html
I made a composition having only piano-sounds, using six different piano-samples.
http://www.samshuijzen.nl/sam/plainmods/tunvis05s.xm
So, as experiment, I wanted to replace all six samples by the same piano-plugin as a source.
In the general tab, I could add the plugin in all channels, but the result was questionable.
First of all, I couldn't remove the samples from the file, to give room to the plugin.
What's the right procedure here ?

i would:
1) delete the samples from the file using that menu on the far left (centre)
2) change all the notes to instrument 01
3) put the plugin in effect slot 1.
4) on the instrument editor for instrument 01, change the plugin to 01 and the midi channel to 1

it should work...

or (possibly easier):

remove step 2)

in step 4) on the instrument editor for instruments 1 to 6 change the plugin to 01 and the midi channel to 1
