A friend of mine from years ago is getting married. Thing is he lives on the other side of the planet.

Any ideas on a wedding present that could be easily mailed?

Anything that can go in a box can be easily mailed, but I wouldn't put anything that valuable in the box (it could damage).

Probably a card and a small object that reminds both of you about your friendship.

What do both of you have in common?

I hear you guy's.  The thing is he left the country when I was 9 and I haven't seen him since. Only in recent year have we gotten back in touch thanks to the internet. Also a wedding present is really for two people so just specific ideas on something small that can be mailed that's not fragile. I'll write a long letter and I think that I should actually get something that the lady will appreciate more.
