Do you want to see a real big mirror ball? :D
Here it comes (at 06:45):

Seriously, it was the most impressive concert I've ever seen....

This is great and I have to agree with ladaygagamonsters

QuoteBest solo hands down. This solo is all bout PURE emotion. I get chills everytime i hear it, and I've listened to it over 500 times easy.

I have never heard a guitar sing like that. Screw technical, I'll take emotional any day.

I wonder if Les Paul heard his invention played by the likes of Hendrix, John McLaughlin and Gilmore.

The screaming solo at about 8:00 sounds so tortured!

Count me in, Mr. Uncloned....

Found some details about the sphere:
QuoteIt's probably safe to say that Stagecraft built the largest mirror ball in existence for this tour. With a diameter of 16', the mirror ball rises up from the middle of the stadium field this time, to a final height of 70'. When it's finished its ascent, it bursts open, becomes about 24' wide, and reveals the 12000W Phoebus HMI fixture inside. The ball is also hit from both sides of the stadium by the tour's 4 Gladiator spotlights and by 12 VL2C automated luminaires, which are positioned underneath it.

Words are not enough here.. This concert would have been a smashing experience. And a trip..

Of course the boy is amazing, but it was a bit spoiled by the sunglasses..

Unfortunately the only concert here in Germany was sold out. I think I had sold my soul to get a ticket...
But the whole concert was shown on tv in 1994 and since 2006 there is a double-dvd-set available. Of course, it's not comparable with a "live-experience" but I've  not regretted buying the DVD...

Thanks!

I've not seen that before - it was a great time for mod music.

Not exactly awesome.... a quick improvisation of me doing ambient music with my Roland Gr-20 and 6 instances of z3ta+ - one for each string.

Here comes another song from the Pink Floyd concert:

I think I could post all the videos of the concert here, because they are all amazing and a great experience even for those who don't like Pink Floyd (e.g. Mr. Noth   )...

well, the "music" is ambiance- still a very cool concept.

Sometimes music is timeless. Such as in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T_QXc5duq-4. Ricochet by Tangerine Dream.
