I just downloaded the newest Portable OpenMPT (1.31.03.00) to spend the day making some tunes, and both the x86 and amd64 portable versions give me a message about not meeting minimum requirements upon launch.

I'm using Windows 10 x64 on a Ryzen 5800X3D ... Somehow I don't think this app needs Zen 4 to work lmao 

Interestingly, if I run the installer version it works fine, but then I can't change where it gets installed (I like to keep my MOD stuff in one place).

Which version of Windows 10 are you on? The regular version of OpenMPT requires Windows 10 21H2 or later. On older Windows 10 versions, you need to run the legacy version. Using the installer automatically chooses the correct version for you, so you don't see the issue there.
