I need help with a cool ass microtonal scale i found, i know microtonal tunings "exist" for openmpt using portamento, and i also know
they dont sound the same, because it only goes to +15 and a half-step's around 16, but thats good enough for me.

I guess it would be like +4 or 5 tuning for the scale, because it adds one more step, which makes it 13 steps, please help guys. its really cool.
i want it. but eh, even if you cant help, thank you if you tried. im just aspiring to make great songs for my VG.  8)

What im saying is, when you go to this tutorial: https://wiki.openmpt.org/Tutorial:_Microtonality_in_the_IT_format

you can scroll down and see a 24-edo tone, and the pitches for the notes are:
|C-501......
|C-501...FF8
|C#501......
|C#501...FF8
|D-501......
and so forth and so forth, i basically want that but for the 13 steps in the Bohlen-Pierce scale so i can make some techno masterpiece. it might be FF3 tuning or something for all i know, i just want to have the microtunings for the scale.

Is it absolutely necessary for you to achieve that in IT format? Because if you scroll down to the very last section of the tutorial, you will see that OpenMPT has built-in microtuning support (for sample-based instruments at least) in its MPTM format, and there's a link to a tuning pack in that last section containing a ready-to-use Bohlen-Pierce scale file as well, so you don't even have to set up the tuning yourself.

Alr, i downloaded it but i want some help with the tuning. I downloaded bob's tuning collection but idk how to apply it, everytime i try it and press ok it just defaults back to IT tuning. Im on an mptm file btw.

Found a way how, i go on save as and save it as a .tun file, but please do tell me if theres an easier way. After that consider this post closed.

The tuning UI is a bit counter-intuitive. While you can create and load new tunings in the tuning editor (as you already managed to do), this does not make this new tuning apply immediately. Once you have loaded it and closed the tuning dialog, you need to go back to every instrument that should use that tuning and select the appropriate tuning from the drop-down (the one where you opened the tuning dialog).
