openmpt 1.20 tempo setting gone

Why Is /are The setting for the tempo is gone ?

i want to use modern so the bpm are and stay correct.

Tempo settings were never a property of the "official" XM or IT format. I am trying to undo all the damange OpenMPT has done to those formats in the past, so those settings are exclusively available in OpenMPT's own format, MPTM. MPTM is essentially like the IT format, but with more features.

my it modules saved with modern tempo option in preceding version shows "modern tempo" in version 1.20.1.

Yes, you won't lose the setting in old tracks where it was used, but you can not change the tempo mode in IT and XM files where classic tempo mode is already enabled.
