My last completed song that will be going on my next album Peacefull Weekend. The feel of the song is inspired by the Yoshinori Sunahara album Lovebeat. Features some moving drums going against peacefull synths and the likes.

Notes as i'm listening:

Isn't this chillout? 8)

I like the production techniques and the meager synthtones. The rhythm part is also catching. Your very or overly simplistic style is quite evident in this piece, but you made it work. It's both dreamy and rhythmic.

If you work on this again, maybe for another dub, might i suggest (as an engineering criticism) that you lower the volume of the "gone" in "world gone square" in those places that need it. When engineering vocals, one learns that certain vowels sound louder than others even if they're the same relative dB. (Upon listening to it further, i see it may actually be a problem with the flange you applied to the vocal line. To fix that, i suggest reducing the flange time to a quicker pace, and then passing it thru a HP filter or compressor. That'll fix the times when the vocals seem to project themselves out of the proper levels you've set up.)
Oh, and you accidentally cut off the end of the final fade.

I'm keeping this in the Background Music rotation, but i'll be hoping you work on a more developed mix; this should go on for another 3 or 4 mins....

heh, 3 or 4 minutes more? I dunno. and the cutoff at the end I can't really do anything about. though I seem to make simple sounding stuff and I find I like it a lot. that's what Yoshinori Sunahara does a lot, but he adds in layers of simple stuff.
