As (almost) always, a great work, Mr. Uncloned.
I really like melodic pieces like this. Is there any chance that you will release a longer version?  :)

uncloned

thank you for the listen and comment.

I got stuck in the melody trap and couldn't think of a way out so at this point I can't do anything longer.

Oliwerko

It's very dynamic and nice to listen to.

One thing that gets me is that despite being short, there's a lot happening there all the time.

Not much more I could say than that I like it. The main melody is appealing and at least for me, was kind of 'surprising' in a good way.
I am not afraid of death.
I am afraid of murder.

thank you for the listen and comment!

Notes as i'm listening

PERFECT amount of alternate tuning! I've said i'm not big into alternate tunings, but this is so acoustic sounding BECAUSE it's *very* slightly off-key. The percussion is well-done and the melody is quite lively, and excellent stereo spacing. I was once asked about my derived concept of "Instrumental progression", and this piece makes an excellent illustration of the concept. One facet of instrumental progression is moving between different instruments with the same melodic line or voice-leading. Using it, the composer of this piece obviously has a knack for classical composition, but perhaps only someone also with that knack would appreciate his effort.

I would say that this song is entirely too short, but classical folk music was rarely more than a couple of minutes long, unless it was written for a commission or event. Needless to say this either deserves more time or more movements. I want more! People, play this at your next Celtic Appreciation party!
