Good day,

I have a piece to share - not for the music so much as the technique used to generate it. On the 14th I will be performing a microtonal ambient piece in a neighboring city. Since I have not performed live for some 9 years I decided using a style that makes it hard to tell if I made  a mistake is a good idea :-)  I expect to be nervous  at least at first. The music below is NOT microtonal - its rather pedestrian actually. But that is not the point. How it was done is the point.

There are 9 timbres in this piece being driven by 1 guitar improvisation.

1. Straight Fender Mustang - clean, bridge + neck pickups.

2. + 3. Roland GR-20 classical guitar + strings patch.

4., 5., 6., 7., 8., 9. - 6 instances of z3ta+ with each instance having a different patch for each string of my guitar.

That is z3ta+ patch 1 = 1st string of guitar, z3ta+ patch 2 = 2nd string of guitar, etc.

This was performed using my laptop - and this also means I can record my performance as well.

Surely how it's done is the point..  

This sounds very promising, but of course you would be a fool not being nervous, it will keep you sharp.

The different patch per string option is a very interesting one.
A friend of mine has a kind of the same with a pickup with led elements, used for MIDI afaik.
