Since 2000 I was a fan of the very nice software tools at http://www.analogx.com
Now, the guy has restarted his work on the site, and decided to publish all his music on the Net :

Some very good electronic work, and class productions.
He wrote he was originally tracker-based, so I thought it was relevant here.

I remember using the vocoder (primitive by todays standard), and the absolutely adorable little program called Sayit. I still fire up Sayit at times. It's a gem.

I've used the Scratch program a few times. SayIt is also pretty nifty.

My fav was AutoTune, all the samples I had was not tuned at all in the old days. That program helped me alot.

You three name the gems indeed. I also used Textscan a lot for a sneak view into .exe or .dll files. Solved some problems with it.
The guy wrote that he will further work on the tools.

I would certainly have some suggestions. Filling in a precise value-box next to the rough sliders in the great Sayit.
Addition of sss-sound-detection in speech being filled in by a short piece of a noise generator in the vocoder, like the EMS2000 does.
Having the choice of just unzipping in dir, and run, instead of the rather silly installation procedure.
He makes a nice distinction in his songs between 'sine' or 'saw', being nice or rough..

His programs indeed don't seem to _require_ installation, so I always wonder why they're not simply stored in a zip file.
