For this song, I wanted to do something different. I wanted something like Baseflow, but differently.

I was aiming for New Age, but I think it went more into Ballad/Waltz. Not a bad change though, I like it. You can expect a really nice and calm song. I also added the more important screens.

As you said, I don't think New Age. There are hardly complete melodic structures in that.
So I would say, Ballad is sufficient. That's the atmosphere, while Waltz is just the metrum.

I just can't ignore the thought that it reminds me terribly to a starting NES chip-tune song from a compilation of games that includes a various versions of super mario, duck hunt, and a few others. Naturally, i can't remember the name neither of the song or the exact name of the compilation (if i can remember correctly, there was a blue seascape with seagulls and a list menu of the games to chose from), and couldn't find it after some longer youtubing. :? I'll keep the searching, maybe will get lucky.

edit: i got lucky ^^, "unchained melody" chiptune, it was on the 9999 in 1 compilation, but on this one they recorded it longer:
