I found a chinese equivalent of YouTube : http://www.tudou.com
Lots of (music)movies there too.
It seems difficult to navigate with the characters, but it's not that bad with a few tricks.
The page has about the same layout as Youtube, so you'll see an empty space in the top bar with a button R-next to it.
I assumed this as a search function, and it appeared to be. One can enter an alfabetic string as well.

Since the underlying code of a webpage still is in english, it's enough to hover with the mouse above a button or a link,
and check the statusbar of the browser to get info about the link to go, like 'cartoon.tudou.com/'.

So I first went with the 'channel' pull-down menu to 'music.tudou.com'. The search dialog is replaced to the top bar R corner.

So I typed 'brian eno'. As you can see some results have images, some have the same headphone picture.
These are files with only sound. A difference with YouTube I guess.
When downloading a tube-file on HD it becomes a .FLV file. The same extension is valid for those sound-only files.
Didn't know that FLV can contain only sound as well, and I must say, quality is slightly better than mp3.

Sam, nice discovery =)
I can recommend this link instead of the default: http://translate.google.com/translate?u=http://www.tudou.com/&sl=ja&tl=en&hl=en&ie=UTF-8
It's "google-translated" from japanese to english, so you can read the video descriptions example, and that might help a lot on most cases. Google language tools is a very handy webtool indeed, you can use it any webpage that is made on language that a user don't understand, and don't want to spend (enter number here) time to guess how is the site functioning, let that be a russian one, or japanese, chinese, german etc. =)

About FLV format: well its "flash video" so it support my favorite video compression format H.264, and HE-AAC, a very powerful lossy sound compression format that is designed to give high quality sound, even on low bitrates. So in some cases it can really sound better than "common" mp3s.
I'm as calm as a synth without a player.  (Sam_Zen)

It also hosts some good movies (as in commercial ones) and episodes from TV shows heh.

I checked the google-link. It indeed shows some phrases in english, but f.e. the top bar still contains characters.
And in some regions of the page it became a bit of a mess with things overlapping each other.
Not that surprising, because this is not a japanese page, but a chinese one.

Thanks for the info about the audio FLV. I will have to check my converters if being able to save in that format.
