Removing Silence from multiple files?

I have a few hundred files that need the silence cropped off of them. Now I can load them into Sound forge 8 and simply click the crop/trim option and viola, its done. But I have to do it one file at a time. Anyone know a program or a way, to get rid of silence from multiple files at the same time?

Does have SoundForge 8 have batch conversion? If it's good enough, you can specify what should be done with every file within the batch...
