To many bosses that were amazing, and still are.

One of my favorites is the one against The Boss in Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.
The main character (Naked Snake) has to go against her to prevent all out nuclear war.All the time,The Boss defeated Snake, till they setlled there last score in an white flower field.

But the great one i saw was this! >https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBxSMnYCPjw<

This...is the most original boss i ever saw in my whole gaming carrer.Thought it was chocolate in the start, the suprise was when the boss sang, then i regreted every thought it was chocolate.Something like that was never done before,no wonder this game is the most controversial creation in its era. That game is almost perfection, can't they rerelease the N64 with this game and all its classics.

I guess the whole production team I guess. There are so many elements here that are fresh :P.

A boss that is not only a turd but a turd with a magnificent tenor. And to incorporate music as part of the boss game play makes for some difficult coding as well as a difficult concept to incorporate. Clearly they didn't take the lazy way out for this boss and there was a lot that could go wrong here, but they made it all work. The character, the voice, the music (particularly), the interaction all done first rate.
The only critique I would have is that there really didn't need to be any foul language. They could have kept the language somewhat cleaner for even better effect.

I can't think of any other bosses that quite stand out.

For me,the foul language did had an need.If this pile of turd didn't mentioned his ''rear'' and the rest, then the ''what the heck?'' effect would be useless.Well, thats just me.

BTW KrazyKatz.
I found something interesting of how they got the idea of making the boss an big pile of singing turd.

The only thing missing is how they made the game in detail (not just this boss, but how they got like hours of voice acting in an 64 MB cardridge, and the coding part you mentioned). What's shoking is that this awesome game got lackbuster sales, even with all the effort they put.Oh,and something else i found in my spare time:

:-\ I wish I never read that...

BTW: It's not the descriptive material about the rear and sweetcorn getting passed etc... that bothers me. That stuff is great.  It's the specific curse words like sh*t which I think brought it down a notch. for example, I think making the rhyme work with "steamer" instead of sh*t for example gives it more character. Elluding to the foulness makes it clever and colorful instead of just caving to a swear word. While swear words can be used for excellent effect, over here there is just so much character that a curse word seems to lower it.

Guess you knew what was coming when ya clicked on the link.Well, atleast i found an article how this pile of singing turd got created.Next time,i'll try putting an warning again of the content. But finding an article of how the voices got decently compressed to fit in an 64 MB ROM still bugs me,even today(since they usualy take up whole CDs).

I get it now.The type of censorship you metioned is good(but sh*t being mentioned once is not that bad),compared to what i see everyday in translated commercial video games.Still, can't deny the fact that this game containes most of the time characters that curse in one way or another.
