Depends on what. I can be skeptic.
"Heh, maybe I should've joined the compo only because it would've meant I wouldn't have had to worry about a damn EQ or compressor for a change. " - Atlantis
"yes.. I think in this case it was wishful thinking: MPT is makng my life hard so it must be wrong" - Rewbs

I mean as in JREF or Skeptics Society. You know - skeptical as a method of knowing things around you.

Ah. I then I guess its a no. I tend to have an open mind, but I am skeptical about major things around me. Things that don't feel right, I am skeptical about it.

Dunno if its a yes or no then... :P Because some people are skeptic about things I'm open minded about, such as whether aliens exists etc... But I suppose we can only know if we learn more about what direction you want to go with this. :)

Err, I strive to be one, and try to keep up with all the skeptic's podcasts, blogs and other outlets I can find, but I can't say I have the education or experience to really apply the skeptical toolset on everything I read,  hear or believe.

Being skeptical means being open to evidence and following where it leads. And in the absence of evidence you withhold judgment as opposed to making things up.

Skeptoid, the Skeptic's Guide to the Universe, Skeptic Zone, The Reality Check, Big Picture Science (more pop-sciency, but with regular appearances of Phil Plait and more recently Steve Novella), The Pseudoscientists and the local Swedish podcast Skeptikerpodden. Used to listen to a couple more, but it became a bit too many to keep up with (some UK podcast, and the Center for Inquiry one I've forgotten the name of), and started filling up my harddrive and Ipod with episodes I didn't have time to listen to.

Steven Novella is my hero ) Very nice guy!

I actually would advice his lectures on medical myths - great stuff!
