Songs from Long ago

Hi,

I've not been around for 5 years... 2006 somewhere. Anyway, I remember there was a fairly central space to upload one's .it files. And I can't seem to find my .it files from yesteryear, and remembered I uploaded the best ones (though not great in retrospect) there.

Any idea where I can find those old files?

How's things still around here?!

Most of the songs from the download central have been lost (don't ask me how, that was before my time here) - I have got a small and early backup from the 2000/2001 era for the new upcoming download site, but not more than that. Kim (MisterX) said that he might have some more backups but I haven't heard back from him WRT that.

I have. The backup he has, was upto 2004. It only had one of my songs (my first). He had to look for the actual backup though. (he had a database export)

How big is that backup (in number of files)?

I really don't know. He never sent it to me. I only asked if he had some songs of mine. He looked up through his backup files, found a sql dump and told me there was only one song of mine in that dump. He couldn't find the actual files but it should be on some dvd's somewhere in storage. He had to look for them.

So I have no idea how many files it are.

Ah, I assumed that had access to the backup at one time.

I have backups from 2007 or 2008 I guess, I have downloaded a lot of them, near 2GiB or so. Have some backup DVDs with mods and in at least one of them have the 2000 and the 2001 or 2002 folder. I don't remember. Wow! long time ago! I think that you're looking for that files located in that dirs.
